AVG incorrectly marking iTunes as trojan

As of today or so AVG for Windows is marking iTunes as a "Trojan horse Small.BOG". As you can see several files show up as infected including every translation file. This is obviously incorrect as it didn't happen yesterday, happens to the iTunesSetup.exe file downloaded from http://itunes.com and happens to multiple people. Hopefully AVG fixes their definition files soon. If people choose to "Heal" these infections it actually breaks iTunes in such a way that for some people uninstalling and reinstalling is not a solution.

That doesn't look right...

AVG is a piece of shit anti virus.
Well, most antivirus softwares are so.

What window$ does here?

I used to recommend AVG to people whose machines I end up fixing cos viruses... Not anymore. Avast is the way forward in terms of free antivirus.

I don't see any issues here. Sounds like AVG is doing a good job weeding out the crap. Let me know when it correctly identifies Windows as a virus, too.

Windows isn't a virus! It is a bug!

iTunes has been exposed. Abandon ship!

Well, I always thought Itunes was a virus, as well as a piece of crap. Nice to have that confirmed. As for Windows, I hope AVG will eventually be able to offer options such as 'heal' or 'ignore'. I'll probably go with 'heal' and/or quarantine Wndows in the vault, next to Itunes.

So, when will AVG recognize itself as an intruder/trojan and do a heal/quarantine? I'm going back to Avast if I can't scrape up some dough for Bitdefender or Kaperski. I'm definitely not going to shell out dollahs for those other torjans, MacAfee and Norton. AVG is short for Anit Virus Gatrbage!

Why can't I do a heal on Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player with AVG, along with some other unwanted Windows crap components Microsoft forces on us. OH, System Restore is probably a virus too, which is why I prefer Acronis True Image. If it's Microsoft or AVG, chances are it's shit that's gonna get in your way and have you pulling out your hair. Now, isn't that what a virus is intended for, to aggravate and give you a hard hard time?

I don't care if you can get AVG for free. I'm keeping it off of my puter. Avast is so much nicer and actually works too...und finds the viruses, well, most of them anyway! Hey, no one's perfect ya know, not even anti virus developers. Hmmmm, come to think of it, maybe they'd develope a better product if they was to hire some of those virus maker fellas! They sure seem to know what they're doing.

Two words...

Try Avast!
